I also have a major problem with AAA Texas County Mutal Insurance Company. One of their clients, Judy Starr, was in Meridian, MS on April 1 and was in a parking lot of a supermarket. My daughter was insured with Progressive Insurance Company. They investigated the incident and found that my daughter was only 40% at fault and paid Ms. Starr 40% of her claim. With that in mind, my daughter should have actually been offered a settlement claim from AAA of 60% of damages in the accident. My daughter was offered only 20% from AAA on her claim for same accident. As stated above this was in a parking lot and my daughter was backing out of a parking space when Ms. Starr's companion (driver of Ms. Starr's vehicle) came at a fast speed and hit the back of my daughter's car). The police department did investigate and clearly states that Ms. Starr was at fault by coming up the wrong way in the parking lane area. We protested to our insurance company (Progressive) and Ms. Starr's insurance company (AAA), but without success. AAA stood behind their offer of only 20%. I feel that these two insurance companies should have consulted with each other and agreed upon the same percentage for each driver to say the least. We are very upset about the settlement. As another report read: AAA does not really consider the appropriate settlements.
