Located At 2121 N. Arizona Ave. Chandler, AZ 85225-3414Thorobred Chevrolet Taking advantage of the sick just to make a quick sale!

I am writing out of concern for my father. My father is a bi-polar, manic depressant. On February 10 he went to Thorobred Chevrolet located at 2121 N. Arizona Ave. Chandler, AZ 85225-3414, and purchased a Corvette. When he was at this establishment and during the process of finalizing the sale he had an accident. He had a bowel movement in his pants and picked up the feces off of the showroom floor. This happened in front of the salesman Mario. Upon returning from using the restroom to clean himself up he asked the salesman and his son-in-law if they could smell anything. Mario stated that I don't smell anything, and continued on with the transaction.
My father was seen by his psychologist on February 11 who explained to my father that bio-polar manic depressants tend to buy new cars when suffering from a bought of depression. My mother recently passed away in September. I understand that the staff at Thorobred Chevrolet did not have prior knowledge of all of this information.
I would like to express some concerns regarding the staff at Thorobred, which I believe should be brought to your attention. My father called me after his visit with his psychologist and said that the Dr. Would like me to contact him in order to help my father stop the proceedings with the purchase of the Corvette. The Dr. Explained that he would be happy to write a letter or even contact your dealership to explain that my father was not thinking clearly and his situation. After getting off the phone with my father I contacted your Dealership directly, and spoke with Jeff Lechnir, I explained the situation and what had happened on the day of the purchase and clearly that would indicate the behavior of a person not quite in the right frame of mind. He said that he would speak with the owner and call me back. Jeff Lechnir called me back and said that the owner was fine with the cancelation since my father had not taken possession of the vehicle. The only condition was that my father had to be the one to say that he did not want the vehicle, if my father still insisted that he wanted to purchase it they would have to sell it to him. Jeff Lechnir told us to ask for Gabe Gracia. So my father and I went down to the dealership. We met with Gabe Gracia and he proceeded to ask my father How can I help you? As if he had no idea what we were there for. My father explained that he had been to see his psychologist about his depression issues, the recent passing of his wife and that he had made a mistake and wasn't thinking clearly when he purchased this vehicle that he wanted to cancel the transaction. Gabe Gracia sat and listened and then said that your daughter can put her two cents in, but ultimately he had to hear it from my father that he wanted to cancel the transaction. My father was very apologetic to Gabe for all his trouble and even offered to pay a service fee. Gabe Gracia said that what he didn't understand was that my father had been there with his son-in-law so how could the transaction been ok then. I explained that the son-in-law has no say in finical matters just as Gabe had explained to me that I didn't. If you tell my father no then he will just become upset and want to do something even more. I continued to explain to Gabe that My father had already stated that he wanted to cancel the transaction so I wasn't sure why we were continuing to have a conversation about it. He heard what he said he needed to hear from my father. Gabe said he would be right back and went and retrieved the contract file. Upon his return he said that he would contact the banks there was no papers to sign. My father apologized again and again and all that Gabe said was that It is what it is. The Gabe proceeded to tell my father that he could tell that I was upset with him. I explained that I was not upset with my father at all, but that my father's health was not in good condition and that he would need that money in the future for medical purposes. Gabe stated That's between you two.
On February 12 Gabe Gracia contacted my father at his residence by phone. He told my father that he could still sell my father the vehicle at the same price without having to inform your daughter about it. My father told Gabe No, and then contacted me. I proceeded to contact Gabe and ask him if it was true that he contacted my father and stated the above. Gabe said that he did indeed contact my father. After disputing with Gabe over the phone I asked him not to contact my father again. Upon arriving at my father's home he was shaking and very anxious. I asked him what was wrong and he said just the whole car thing.
With all this said, When a person has explained that they are suffering from discomfort and distress a little understanding could go a long way... Don't you agree?
I'm sure anyone can appreciate my concern for my father, he is very dear to me, and it hurts me to see him so troubled. I feel as though Gabe Gracia of the Thorobred staff is clearly trying to take advantage of the situation just to make a quick sale.
As I stated on the onset, I am writing this letter only out of concern for my father. I cannot judge the entire Thorobred staff.
