I sent photos of motorcycle parts to be rechromed. He very professionally sent an assessment and cost estimate. As requested, I shipped the parts to him and sent $400 via Paypal. He missed all his delivery promises. He asserted that work had started on the parts.
After weeks of missed dates, I finally asked to get the parts back in whatever condition they were in. Wouldn't answer my pleas to return the parts, and I was forced to buy new parts.
After repeated pestering, he finally returned the parts, untouched. His claim to have started work on them was false. Never returned the $400 deposit I trustingly paid up front, although I have been pestering him for months. His last message..."Bear with me, Ned".
Filed a complaint with the BBB; He did respond to that, but no action on my refund. It have been more than 6 months now.
I have the feeling that this guy isn't a crook, but no matter what he is, he should be in business.
Don't send your business his way! You will regret it.
