On Oct. 18 I took my car in to get a computer check and fix the related issues. After I got the car fixed I was very happy with the results initially; however, upon careful inspection of the work done I found that the ignition coil pack that was changed wasn't a new. They charged me $221.00 for a new one. I was told that the dealership sold it for that price. However, after making several calls to different dealerships I found that the dealership had it for $51.00. I immediately called Autocheck #14 and, eventually, got a partial refund. This was done with much effort and drama. My problem with this is that they put a used part on my car and charged me three to four times the price for a new one and, not only that, they were very rude and insensitive in this matter. I still had to pay for the labor related to installing the used part that was eventually returned to them. Two weeks before I made this initial visit to the shop a new ignition coil was put on my car and now that same coil is again on my car. It turned out that I didn't need an ignition coil, especially since the ignition coil that was on there before the visit was new. I ended up paying overpaying Autocheck.
