Clovis RV - Weekend Warrior
No warranty shops for weekend warriors - buyer beware!

Buyer Beware! (Weekend Warrior) If a company is selling what was the most popular toyhauler on the market for 1/2 price... Hellllooooo RED FLAG!

With the failing economy several RV manufacturers are going out of business! My understanding is Weekend Warrior is among them. (actually already closed production - please go to their website at warriormfg.com, no sales info and no phone numbers... Just "for service contact a dealer" message displayed boldly across the heading of their page) My understanding and belief is Clovis RV will sell you the formerly popular toyhauler, but will not have their service department do any of the warranty work. (because the company has closed - they have no way to recoup their money for the warranty work performed) Just proceed with caution if you plan to purchase a Weekend Warrior as you may end up paying for all the repairs out of pocket!

Items to look for in regards to warranty work needed: CHECK the ROOF; there should not be bubbles or cracks. The roof should be smooth with lines of sealant. Make sure the shower drains into the sewer tank and not onto the floor under the shower pan. Are there cuts or marks in your lino? (check for screws under it) Do the rear beds come down level and lock into place easily? Look for cracks in the false bottom and/or sheered screws Is your rear door even and do the locking mechanisms look warn in any way? Are the sidewalls smooth and flat? Are the stickers peeling? On the front of the RV... Check the front corners... For tiny hairline cracks... This will get much worse over time and I personally would not purchase an RV with these cracks there. Does the floor squeek? (not a good sign) Check to make sure cupboards and counters are level and secured to walls properly. When the slides go in and out. Are they angled? (they should slightly angle up at the floor for the purpose of water run off) Check the seals on the outside of the RV slideouts. (make them water test it... You spray the water) Are there bubbles in the carpet? Look under the bed... Damage? Water? All window tracks work properly. That's a short list... Just go through it and be picky!!
