After two days and 4, ooo down we bought a used chev. Blazer. When we talked to Preston, their top salesman, he told us the engine had been redone and that there was 93,000 miles on it. Cindy in the finance department after we signed all the needed paperwork and contract, brought out the odometer readout which said 193,000 miles. She mentioned that by state law they didn't need to put down 193,000. We were shocked at the sales man and the odometer that stated 93,000. The salesmen told us the engine had been redone and that the gearboxes front and back were redone. Two days after it started to smoke and found out it was coming from underneath the vehicle. The front and rear axels were so hot they were on fire. We had to run a water hose on it for a half hour to let it cool. When it cooled we opened up the covers to find very dirty, runny thin oil with metal shavings. This had not been redone! We had a flat tire and the spare was flat. Under the seats it was black with oil, it smelled bad so we removed all the carpet and found many large cracks in the body. The front brakes were making noise and the brakes were starting to rub on the stel plate. The metal sencor was removed from the brakes. The electric motor on the back window ceased up and the window wouldn't roll down. Which was the main access into the vehicle. Every day we went out something would fall apart. It was a lemon nightmare. We lost days of work. We couldn't believe a dealer would sell us and finace something so old. GMAC was lied to make it look like it was a better vehicle than it was, so they could finace it. Glen Grant told us they would make it look good. After a week of cleaning up and working on it without making a single payment I called the main guy up and he said we could work something out. We showed up only to find they had found us only one vehicle that we only make a deal with. They wanted us to lease not buy, give us a vehicle that didn't meet our needs and wanted $4,000 down again. No other choice was available. Of all the vehicles new or used they only selected one for us. What choice! They did not offer to help us, everything they did was deceitful.
