I bought a 2001 Hyundai Sante Fe in March. April 2 the dealer got into a accident with it. Refused to refund my money or even give me a loaner. I still have not gotten any paperwork regarding the accident, including the police report. I sent letters and have called many times to the General Manager and the Owner Mr. Dan Bortolussi.
We waited 3 weeks and had to argue with them about replacing both bumpers on the vehicle. They did agree to replace everything at no cost to us. It was not what we wanted. My husband and I spent many hours in person and on the phone with them. The accident was minor, but my vehicle is not the same.
Now, here it is January 14 my Santa Fe is in the shop to have new engine put in. It only has 29,000 miles on it. I can't even begin to list the complications that both my husband and I have been through. This letter would be 8 pages long. I will be sending letters to Hyundai. Corp directly, as well as the Better Business Bureau in MA.
Don't ever buy a Hyundai product. Dont't ever go to Herb Chambers in Auburn, MA.
