I was in need of a car and went to ugly duckling thinking I would never be able to get a car and much to my surprise I did... They sat down a worked out a payment plan and told me that if I put flyers out all around town and people came in and bought cars I would get credit for it... Each car purchased I would get a car payment made... Ha ha ha ha that is a joke
I put flyers out all over and the first person to go buy a car was a friend of mine she called me the day she purchased her car and I waited two days after that for ugly duckling to call me and tell me about the sale so then I called them and yes they had a record of my friend purchasing the car but no record of my getting a payment made for the sale...
I kept calling them and talked to all kinds of managers over there but had no luck... So then a relative of mine went in and purchased a truck and he took the flyer that I had given him and I waited one day to see if anyone would call me and NO they did not so I called over to ugly duckling again and got the run around...
Then they tell me that for me to get the credit it had to be posted the day of the sale and since the salesman did not do that then I would not get the credit so at that time I quit making the payments on the car and drove it for 6 months without making payments and then had them come pick it up since the heater core went bad in it and the starter and I had to replace two tires on it and a headlight and there was nothing to change a tire with...
And I found that out when I was coming home from Melborn florida to Tampa and a tire blew out the 2nd week I had the car...
