TIRES PLUS has forced me to put in my resignation because I questioned their reasoning of not supporting me when I wanted to excercise my right to vote and to defend myself due to some inner store actions. I am also in the National Guard and may be looking at possible deployment overseas to fight for this country and against terrorism.
I worked for a very fair and just store manager, but quite blind to the quality of workmanship and professionalism his Assistant Manager, Tony Louden, has displayed. I had to put up with complaint after complaint from customers about the Assistant Managers unprofessional ethics, sexual harrassment, and emotional outburst. I was advised on several occassions that the Assistant Manager is taking medications for his mental wellness and it's working quite well,
BUT, I don't think it is. I am still receiving reports of his unfairness and outbursts to and at customers.
Now enough about the inner store problems, lets get to the upper district management, my questioning of support has gotten me suspended pending termination. WHY, because the District Manager, George Bennett, has found the lowest point in his short career and as a human being to not sit down as a man and face me with the problem, along with the store manager, but found a loop hole to make my questions go away.
If I had it in my power to convince this corporation to audit first then interveiw all that these innerstore problems pertain to, THEN make a decision, I would show that the American tradition of fairness still exists.
But, I guarentee that I have made steps in the Corporate level of Tires Plus, and to include the major share holder Bridgestone/Firestone, the media and other parties. I've also made steps to resign before the fact. Here is a brief copy of my resignation for all to read...
Attn: tires plus
I am giving notice of resignation effective immediately.
Due to tires plus inability to provide any type of
Instoresupport for it's employees that are presently
Serving part time in our armed forces of the united
States. This is a very sensitive time in our country and
It would be a benefit to the american people that there
Are company's that back the american traditions as well
As their values. It is a travisty to know such a company
Is not willing to let some of it's employees excercise
Their constitutional rights to vote and defend their
Actions as well as their country.
So is this a decision that holds a small amount of vadilty?
