General Warranty Services
Promised warranty on vehicle. Provided VIN# year and more. $150.00 initial charge. Never heard fom again. Found ripp off notice on line. East Dubuque

This company promised me a bumper to bumper warranty on vehicle. They initiated phone call by stating that my vehicle was up for renewal for warranty coverage providing me with make, model, color, VIN# etc.

My first thought was that it was a Ford dealer, however, they had a deal for me. Previously I was contemplating such a warranty, so this sounded good. I paid them $150.00 by credit card and got suspicious when I hadn't heard from them after several weeks as to the balance or payment schedule.

As to how they obtained my vehicle information, phone number etc. I suspect could be a variety of ways. The vehicle was previously owned by my son, who took a personal loan out against the vehicle. I personally paid off this loan and received the title.
