Here is the entire story, some what detailed!

Recently I decided to take my vehicle to Younger Toyota for a regular oil change. Appointment went fine, I was able to pick my car back up shortly after I droped it off... (my best friend is my service writer) I got a great price on my Full synthetic oil I believe to be about 5 quarts. My car when I got it back, wasn't running normally, I just thought it was maybe the weather, something different... Just didnt think too much of it.

About 1,323 miles later, I went around a turn to see my oil light come on and stay on. I took it immediatly to my dealership, parked it check the oil... Dipstick was "crunchy" not one drop of oil anywhere on it, there was several people standing right there when I checked it one being a Master Tech, they agreed there was very little if any oil in my engine. I called my service advisor right away he told me that he would bring it in on Monday, leave the car parked where it is... He will pick me up, that he did.

Monday morning came around, called him again, they had some oil waiting on me. Brought that up. Put it in my car about 4 quarts... Checked the dipstick. It now had some oil on it... Very clean looking very fresh. Which tells me there was absolutly none in there before hand. I then started my car there was small amount of smoke, an audible tapping noise, drove it driectly down to Toyota (about 2000 feet away from my dealership literally) They put the remaining amount of oil in there that it needed. They asked that I follow up in approx. 100-150 miles they have put some dye in my engine to see where the leak was. (They believe that in 1000 miles that my car was able to burn straight through 5 quarts of oil {IMPOSSIBLE}) I humored them and took possesion of my vehicle again. It ran still very bogged down, audible tapping not too terrible but noticeable. I did not follow up with the dye, because I know 100% for sure that my car does not consume oil.

Now, about 3 months later, my car is running as well as you would expect after it had no oil in it for about 1000 miles. I get in it, start it drive to get some dinner... I begin to hear this horrible, sickening, very loud tapping noise. I am around cars all the time and I know my way around an engine pretty well so immeditaly my heart sank, and dollar signs began to flash in my eyes. I knew exactly what the sound is, and I know about how much a problem like that is going to cost. I needed to drive my car about 3 miles tops to get my Fiance's car. I park my poor little car and there she sat all weekend. I was able to bring back in to Toyota... They told me that it was 2 quarts low on oil... (how funny, since I just checked it about a week before this happened. It was fine..) So now they are telling me that it burned 2 quarts in a matter of a week.

Let me clear some things up here. There was never any smoke, no drops of oil ANYWHERE-ever! I know that that is complete bull... They went ahead and charged me for 2 quarts of synthetic. Dont really know where they put it because I know that is wasnt low.

Ever since the day I got it back after they put the oil in it, every single time I would get gas, I made it a point to check my oil. Sometimes I would just check it to have piece of mind at random times! So I know for sure that it was just fine with the oil levels.

Well now that I am to this point. This is my only vehicle. I work 45 hours every single week. To be able to pay for my PRIDE and JOY! I love my car that I just get to look at all day.

The way they are willing to "compensate" for me is an engine at their cost. They are getting back to me with price, but that is going to be nothing short of $4,000.00. Fyi... I dont have that kind of money laying around. NOT good enough for me.

They have no idea what kind of heart ache, and stress this has caused me these last couple of days. I Have to play phone tag with them all day while I am to be fullfilling my duties at my job. I have to figure out ways to get home from work every night. I have to be late almost every morning becuase I cant find a ride, or the person that is to pick me up is late, or when I get to drive my Fiance's car, he has nothing to drive and must sit at the house all day (hope there's not an emergency that would require him to drive some place or meet someone.)

The worst part about it, I work at a car dealership that stands by their customers 100000%. When a mistake is made, they man up and take responsiblity for it. They dont jerk the customer around and try to blame them for their mistakes. When the problem is resolved that customer leaves with a smile on their face, and im sure they are willing to come back in here because they can trust their dealership. I just dont know how Younger Toyota can do this to me!!!

I just want my car returned to the way it was before their careless fingers got a hold of it. I dont want to pay for something that just sits there, I cant afford that.
