I switched to Geico in November because I needed storage insurance. I talked to the representative over the phone. The representative told me that I need to pay full price for the insurance and I would get refunded a percentage. I told the representative that I needed full coverage because the car had a lien on it. I deployed to Afghanistan two days later. After returning at the beginning of June I called to reactivate my insurance. I got the refund check no problem. On June 30 I was in an accident where I went into a ditch. When I called to make the claim I was told I was not covered. The insurance agent told me I only had liability and comprehensive. The accident happened in Louisiana while on leave. Geico is doing an investigation.in the mean time my car is sitting in storage lot collecting bills and I need to return to Fort Gordon Georgia where I am stationed. Every time I talk to someone from Geico they tell me that everyones definition of full coverage is different.
