Charlie Finance Manager - Finance Manager of Russ Darrow Kia refuses to refund extra packages and interferes with friendship

I have a problem and a complaint about your Russ Darrow Kia Dealership in Waukesha, specifically Charlie, the Finance Manager. I recently purchased a vehicle from that dealership. Everything went relatively smoothly. I referred my friend (I'll call her Judy) who was in a financial predicament. Judy is very susceptible to even minor sales pressure and quite possibly has a low IQ. I explained this to the sales person Dennis, general manager Bobby and finance manager Charlie before bringing her in and all agreed that anyone who would take advantage of a person like that would be a low life.

I helped her get started on her deal, introduced her to everyone, then left because I had to go back to work.

Judy is a single mom with low income. She needed a lower monthly car payment so that she can afford medication for her son. Her son has ADHD and she currently has no health insurance. She has admitted to depriving her son his medication at times because she cant afford it. She's been through the ringer in her life and I just wanted to help her out.

After getting her payment close to the target we were shooting for, Charlie then sold her an extended warranty and a car care package that brought her payment back up! She didnt even save enough to pay for her childs prescription which was the whole point of going through all that. Judy purchased these from Charlie without me there to protect her. I was shocked and disappointed in Charlie because I talked with him ahead of time about Judy's needs.

Judy called Charlie back, on my insistence, within 48 hours of the purchase and asked him to remove the car care and extended warranty and lower her payment. He refused.

I called Charlie Friday and left a message telling him Im very disappointed in him and asking him, again, to remove the warranty and car care package from the deal. He never called me back.

I sent a letter of complaint to Russ Darrow himself on Tuesday. On Wednesday, I found out that Judy has stopped talking with me and wont return my calls because she has found out about my comments about her low IQ. Im not sure what kind of a person would intentionally hurt someones feelings and intentionally break up a friendship. I assume the person who told Judy about my comments is Charlie as retribution for the letter of complaint.

Im struck by the total lack of professionalism. I have to question the morality of someone who would emotionally hurt another human being to avoid having to rescind a sale, of which, he is likely paid commission.

I will never buy another car from Russ Darrow if Charlie is involved or stands to profit in any way, and I plan share my experiences with friends and colleagues. Charlie tarnishes the reputation of the dealership and brings a bad light to the helpful and respectful sales people there. If Russ Darrow Group condones this employees behavior, I would also fault the corporation.
