Let me start at the beginning. I purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry LE brand new. I saw them roll it off the truck. I was so excited. I loved driving my car and it drove wonderful... For about the first 15,000 miles.
At 15,000 miles I was having Rims put on my vehicle at Tread Quarters, when the technician discovered all 4 of my tires were bald and needed to be replaced. I looked at them and verified this was true. I called Charles Barker and they informed me that tires were not part of my warranty. I understood that but to have to replace all 4 tires after 15,000 miles of mild use is ridiculous. Still, I sucked it up and paid for the tires anyway.
About 2 weeks later, maybe 300 miles I noticed that my A/C was no longer cold. So I dropped my car off at Charles Barker and waiting for the call. A gentleman called me an informed me that my A/C Condenser unit was bad and that it was not covered under warranty because a rock went through my front grill and hit the unit just right to cause a hole. Again, I sucked it up and paid for the unit.
Everything went fine with the car for the next year and a half. Now I have 35,000 miles on the car and I have been having a couple issues with the air pressure sensor and the acceleration of the vehicle. So, I decided that before the warranty runs out I wanted to take it in to have those two things looked at.
I dropped my car off and Steve, which was extremely nice and helpful called me the next day and let me know that they fixed the valve stems (for the air pressure light) under warranty, and they reset the computer to hopefully repair the acceleration issue I was having. He said they needed to let the car sit overnight and they would test it the next moring.
Now I get a call this morning, again from Steven and again very nice and respectful. Apparently the computer resetting didn't work and they have to order parts for my TRANSMISSION! Now I know this is covered under warranty, but come on. This car is basically BRAND NEW and I have had to have major work done since I bought. And to make matters worse they have yet to offer me a rental car for anything. I have had to borrow one or get a rental my self.
I have emailed general managers, and owners and even VPs, but no one wants to respond to the issue. I am not asking for a new car, although that would be feasable, but I would like the pain and suffering and the items I have had to replace to covered and reimbursed.
