Using this dealership has been a experienece! I leased my first A4 last July 31. The salesman was an incompetent fool and the financing woman a true dingdong. Within a week of getting the "Certified Pre-Owned" car the electrical started to malfunction. I spent 9 months getting this car serviced almost once a month.
Finally I had to demand a new one... I asked for a sales manager directly. This person informed me that they don't offer the same lease deals anymore so for me to remain in the same payment bracket I now have to purchase for five years! My payment increased $60 per month. I forfeit the Lo Jack I installed and the $1500 I put down on the first one! I only received a $500 lease turn in credit... WOW! He did offer the 50K and 60K service packages after I requested it! None of this sits well with me. I feel ripped off! Unfortunatley I am not aware of all my rights. I was sick of the other car and wanted out!
When I walked out to get in my new 2005 A4 to my horror I saw the chrome trim on the passenger side was very scratched! The salesman grabbed the General sales manager who assured me he would have it fixed for me at a low cost (around$100-$150)... I didn't like it at all, to pay one more penny, but it was a price I was willing to pay at the time for closure!
Upon driving my car away I noticed a funny smell. The next day, half way to work I had an allergy attack from my air conditioner! I was told to bring the car in the next week to have the air cleaned and trim replaced. Not five minutes after leaving the salesman (nice guy) called me to let me, the manager changed his mind and now the trim would cost $400 to replace! I said just fix the smell I'll deal with the strips later. The smell reduced, but not gone when I picked up the car. I spent another week with stinky air and sinus migraines.
After now the second visit, the air I feel is better. The trim however is not fixed. You can't tell me that if I had noticed the trim BEFORE the deal was done they wouldn't have fixed it with a "Due Bill" for FREE!
I would think that after almost a year of suffering with the first car they could've thrown me a bone! Nope, just screw over the dumb girl again!
