My wife and i were recently in the market for a Nissan Sentra. We done the normal car shopping around and finally made a deal. We were at SANDY SANSING NISSAN in Pensacola Fl. We made a deal for a car that was not on the lot because they did not have the color or options we wanted on the lot. We gave the dealership a $500 binder on the car. The binder we were told by our salesman was to protect both the consumer (being my wife and i) and the dealership. If the car came in and it was everything we wanted and backed out, they would keep the money (rightfully so i agree). But if the car came in and it was not what we ordered i would get my money back. Makes sence to me that is how buisness is done right?

When the car arrived i was told by my salesman that it had some scratches on the front end and they would have to repaint the car. I talked this over with my wife and we notified our salesman we were no longer interested in the car. The deal was not for a car that needed to painted the deal was for a flawless product not a damaged on. I then proceeded to tell him i would be by to pick up my binder in a few days and he was fine with that.

Our next conversation was that i (the consumer) would not be getting my money back, and the dealership had incurred the cost of the delivery and that is what the binder was for. We were told how it was raining the night the car was picked up and they could not see the scratches in the rain. I cant see how any of this is my fault or how that matters. If you buy a product regardless of what it is you expect the product to be in pristine condition. If you purchase a car from a dealership and it arrives with damage done to it you should get any money back that you have for a binder or otherwise and the deal should be off so you can move on.instead i i did not get my $500 binder back because i chose not to buy a damaged car. What kind of buisness are you running when you dont give the consumer their money back for your moistakes and still try to make me buy a car from you after you have had your chance and failed misserably.

Sandy Sansing has done a terrible injustice to the consumer by doing this and cant admit their mistake so they have to take your money.
