I flew from Atlanta - Ohio - Madrid - Gran Canaria on 5/26/08. Upon arrival in the Atlanta airport, the AA broker (I flew on AA from ATLMIA) advised that my bags (6 of these) could be examined completely to my ultimate location in Las Palmas Gran Canaria on IB. After I found its way to LPA on 5/27/08, not just one of my examined bags had managed to get in. Consequently, I submitted a missing luggage type using the IB broker. That evening, I obtained a phone in the nearby IB luggage office in LPA. The broker (I should state was exceptionally good and useful) advised me that IB had situated 4-of-6 bags in the MIA airport. For whatever reason, AA didn't move my bags to IB within the period necessary to create the conncections. He also included, he works with IB in MIA to find another 2 absent bags.

Again, that evening, I obtained another phone informing me the two extra bags were discovered. I had been informed that the bags were enroute to ANGRY plus they might get to LPA on IB834 on 5/28/08. On 5/28/08, I achieved IB834 MADLPA as well as in the procedure of having my bags, I realized that the biggest item I'd examined appeared really smooth. Upon further examination, I realized that the tsa-approved lock was cut. Upon raising the carrier, I realized that it appeared lighting. Once I popped the carrier I realized that about 80% of this content examined were absent.

Obviously, I thought completely puzzled, embarrassed and furious concerning the entire scenario. The neighborhood LPA IB employees appeared in disbilief and incredibly apologetic. Since some the things obtained were really individual (e.G. Underwear, electric razor and clothes) IB offered me a treatment package to create due and supplied telephone and fax numbers due to their primary customer service workplace in Madrid. Presently, I Have delivered a fax to IB primary office in Madrid Spain describing all of the lost products with related price. I've yet to get any reactions but Iam optimistic the correct payment could be built asap.

Incidentally, the IB Concerns brokers have explained there's nothing they are able to do to assist me in monitoring my protest in the people. Fundamentally, I should proceed coping with their primary practices in Madrid which imply that I'd need to purchase long-distance calls. Please, I'd enjoy reading from anyone who might have experienced similar circumstances.
