Bad salesperson bad experience

Went to this dealership after researching what model corolla i wanted and checking out some prices! There whole slogan is " you'll do better at balise ya ya" so i found and exact model base corolla i was interested in buying! This is a standard trans base model corolla ce with msrp of 16,259. Now any other dealer can instantly know by msrp stick price exactly what model with what options i have ever been too!
I found this car in stock at a good price at a dealership on the other side off mass just south of boston. I called them to see if they would match "apples for apples" not "apples for oranges" the other dealers price! On the phone they say they won't match this price they'll beat it!
So the next day i go down there i have my add model info etc! I am a well informed buyer I buy a new car every 18 months or so for the last decade 7 new cars in 10 years i drive till theres between 5 and 15k miles still left on warranty then trade them in!
I see the receptionist and she calls a saleperson named kevin over to help me! I told him what i was there looking for and that i do my home work and shop around show him the other advertisements i have (had about 4 other dealer ads with me) explained i am a price shopper!
Usually any other salesman i ever ever dealt with at this time says " while lets go over to my desk and see what we can do to make this sale today" or something similar along those lines! This is a kinda young kid looks to be maybe mid 20's instead of the usual response he just starts ranting about "while that other dealers car in the advertisement is probably got a bunch of miles on it or maybe some lot damage or something like that! This really caught me by surprise. I am looking at 2009 corollas and its may these things just came out this car i was refering to is new i know exact model options etc. A new car dealer does not sell "new cars that have a "bunch of miles or some sort of body damage etc. I explained to him that I am here to see what price that this dealer can give me compared to the other dealers in my state since this is a pretty big dealer with alot more instock cars than most in my area! This sales guy kevin keeps up his rants saying maybe the other dealers card has a scatch or something etc! At this point i was starting to get a little upset and felt antagonized a bit. I told hime again i am here to see what the dealership i am here at now can do for me and not to keep speculating about how other dealers may be trying to sell new damaged cars etc! Fianlly we actually go over to a sales desk to maybe work out some kind of deal err at least i thought so anyway (keep in mind that all that happened till now was in the maid customer front area in full view and earshot of other customers and the receptionist it was kind of freaky i suprised a manager didn't walk by and intervene at some point! I am certainly not new to buying a new car in the last 10 years i have bought 2 new fords 2new mazdas a new chevy and 2 new dodges. Everytime i shop more for price looking at instock models and not "building my own" which is more pricy.
The whole time this salesman seemed really cocky seeming more intered in debunk every thing i was saying rather than focusing on the task at hand. Finally he goe over to the computer and comes back with the info on 2 of the instock base models but soon after tells me that msrp sticker price is the price of the car and that they (balise toyota) doesn't discount or offer any incentives on these models (lol) sticker msrp is what i would have to pay at this dealer (lol) this is odd because every dealer has some sort of dealer discount and some sort of negotiable area on the price. At this point i became pretty agitated by what i wasn't sure if the guy was just being a prick or what he seemed comical in attitude about the whole thing so i just got up and said forget it and left. The same car he wanted to sell me at exact sticker msrp i could get at 500 below dealer invoice by simply taking a ride an hour to boston area. Also i wnet to neigboring dealer LIA toyota in north hampton where the whole experience was totally opposite and friendly and the atmosphere was much nicer and after a shrt negotiation the manager offered to sell me any instock base model corolla at dealer invoice (about 1.5-2.2k under msrp). Please keep in mind that these msrp sticker price and dealer invoice prices are easy to look up and are the same at any dealer in that same regional area the may vary slighly in differnt parts of the country or even out of state but in same state and county its the same and can easily be looked up upon the internet.
Needless to say this was a very bad sales experience and i did not buy a car from this dealer obviously i walked out frustrated at the ignorance and arrogance or this saleperson. I chuckle when i see the "you'll do better at belise ya ya " comercial on tv because from my experience at least with this one balise toyoa dealership and this one salesperson I think its more like "you can do better anywhere but balise ya ya" although in fairness to the company i think i just got some commision shark with dollar sign in his eyes whose ignorance and or arrogance caused me to become somewhat annoyed and irate! I goto dealerships looking for a certian car at a certain price with my only question is can they give me the car i want at the price range i am interested in and i think i got the guy who wanted to sell the car they want me to buy at the price that the person get the level of commision they want to get! Which obviously conflicts as it did. That said i won't be buying any new cars at this dealerhip thats for sure!
