This company is currently called Auto Professionals, but used to go by the name of American Auto Consultants (and possibly others before that).
This is an "Auto Consulting" business, where the idea is to "find" the lowest price on a new car for a party interested in purchasing one. I feel that the company has (perhaps purposefully) exaggerated its claims of service, its success rate and the demand for the business itself in order to rip people off.
I paid $25,000 to this company for a worthless "franchise fee", of which i have still not (quite) earned back in over 3 years of business.in fact, just advertising for this kind of business will cost you thousands of dollars.
The owner has changed names (and addresses) of the business several times in order to avoid accountability. Furthermore, i believe the owner of the business has several aliases (i knew him as Jay Patterson), presumably for the same purpose.
I have filed complaints with both the Kansas and Missouri Attorney General's offices.in short, this business is a complete ripoff. This business offers nothing that a person couldn't do on their own, which is what i ended up doing 99.9% of the time anyway.
