On Saturday January 26th, I entered into the parking lot owned by United Valet Parking in downtown Los Angeles. The sign read: "$7.00 All Day". There were several customers already waiting by the attendant booth and we were all asking "whom do we pay". So we could not wait any longer, so we all left. Here is where is get good... We come back to our car around 530 and guess what? The sign now reads $20.00! I told the attendants that we did not want to pay the extra. So the attendant first says that the sign said "all day" which did not include nights, so I had to either get my car out of the lot, or pay $20.00! Of course, I complianed, then he uttered, someone left the sign out by accident the previous night, but I still had to pay the $20! Long story short, arguing back and forth for about 15 minutues. I explained to him that what had happened was a "bait and switch" and this was very wrong and it was possible illegal. He said that there was nothing illegal about what they did, b/c the sign said "all day" which does not include night! Needless to say, I was very frustrated, so I left the parking lot and parked elsewhere.
