I'd like to report the experience I had at Oil Plus, in an effort to be refunded for unacceptable and unstisfactory workmanship.
I responded to an ad that Oil Plus offered to do a 40 point check point on my car. When I took it in to have an oil change, I took advantage of this offer. I was told that there were 3 suggested areas of concern. They were: brakes, transmission, and radiator work. I set up an appointment to have the brakes repaired and the transmission worked on. My bill came to a total of $423.23.
I noticed the first time I drove my car in rush hour traffic, that my brakes were making a high-pitched squeal. I did not pay 400 dollars to have my brakes squeak. I was immediately upset that there was a problem. I also discovered a noticeable engine noise that had not been there prior to the transmission work.
I called to find out if this would go away. I was told that I should bring it back to have it looked at. The first visit proved fruitless, because the conditions of sitting in the sun all day, were missing. (Since I had driven it cold from my car port.) I called again and was told that on a particular Saturday that we mutually arranged, I would be called when a bay was opened. I never got a call, and wasted my day off waiting at home for the call that never matierialized. Third try was leaving my car at Oil Plus on another Saturday, again a day off. I was left with no vehicle and was called and told there was nothing wrong with my car. I continued to hear both annoying noises.
I do not wish to return to this establishment or have any of the mechanics touch my car. I would like my full refund, so that I can take my car to the dealership and find out what Oil Plus did to my car, and have the dealership correct it.
