My car got towed to ATL for free "diagnostic". The charge was if i get car done there tow will be $50 and if not it will be $70 with no storage fee. They kept car for in their bay area for 2 weeks then finally called to say the price came to $1245.00. We decided NOT to let them fix it. We tried to get my car but the manager (chuck) wouldnt release it because he said they put a starter in it (which NO one authorized).
At first he refused to take it and said i will pay $641.00 for it. He came up with "well if i take it out i will charge you $864.00 (which he put if take away on bottom of receipt) for keeping it here plus put it in pound without me having chance to get it, so either way I will have to pay him something.
He wouldnt give us the key on Friday (9/27/07) so the next morning Saturday (9/28/07) we went to pick it up and guess what the driver window was broken out (only a few glass chips in car no where outside), my dash board damage, and cd player area broken. Now isnt that funny MY car is damage while in bay area (which they lock up every night). We complained because the day of the argument I looked at my car and it was fine. Manager said oh well not reliable with a smerk on his face.
He also charged $1800.00 dollars on my car care charge card then stated he dont know what i was talking about. He also stated he charge $641.00 to my card without us authorizing that either. This place is very shady and will do anything to MAKE you pay money. My car is park in my yard undriven. If you are reading this your help is greatly appreciated. They shouldnt get away with what they have done and I am ready to take it to the top. If need more information please contact at any time.
