Never filled my SR-22

On August 3rd of 2007 my car broke down and a local police officer pulled behind me and ran my ID on the computer. When he came back he told me that my day just got alot worse that my license was suspended. I asked him for what and he said the state didnt have my sr22 on file. Thankfully I didn't get arrested, why I didn't I dont know?

After getting home I called The General and they told me that i never asked for it to be added on to my policy, but they could add it now. I told them that the guy that i talked to made a mistake that i wouldnt forget to tell him that I needed the SR-22, because that's the only way I can keep my license. I asked who I had spoken to, hoping that they record all the phone messages, but they told me that they couldnt find his name that i started the policy online.

Thats true I did do a policy online on June 23 with the SR-22 quoted onto the policy, but didnt buy it because I wanted to make sure that everything would be on my policy (SR22) so i called. I dont know if they didnt want me to tell me the guys name i spoke to or really couldnt find it, but i called back and talked to another representative and they found the agents name for me after i gave them the quote number.

I talked to a manager at the company and i gave her the two quotes one from the internet that i did and the quote the agent did. The next day she told me that neither quote was quoted for an SR22. So I went online and put my quote number that i did online and found that the SR22 was quoted in the policy.

I have court on September 17th for pleading not guilty to driving under suspension and the insurance company wont admit to screwing up and send me a letter so i can get the charges dropped. If im found guilty the state will take my license for 1 year, I've already lost my full time job, because i needed my license for the job, my car was impounded, but was repoed on the 1 of september, and i was evicted from my apartment. Is there anything I can do i have both quoted policy's one with the sr22 showing and one without, they messed up and now im out of a job, house and car.
