A gentleman called me on 8-31 at 5:45 pm and explained that he was from Continental Warranty. I was serching on the internet for warrantys for my car.
The salesman explained the particulars of what the warranty covered and told me it was a bumper to bumper warranty. When it came down to the pricing I straight out told him I didn't have $400.00 down. Asked me to hold and being in the sales profession myself I knew he didn't really ask his supervisor to bring down the price.
Came back on the phone and preceeded to tell me the down payment was $200.00. Being between paychecks I don't have that kind of money in my account. I explained I didn't have the money right now.By this time two gentlemen were on the phone and trying to push, push, push me into giving them some money. I just simply told them I don't have the funds and what part of no did they did not understand? I hung up on them.
A few minutes later, I told my sister to answer the phone and Continental Warranty preceeded to tell my sister that legally Continental Warranty would contact my insurance company and put out in insurance land a "New Car Warranty Decline # and gave her the #.
