There are 4 Carcoa shops in San Diego County owned by the same person. I recently took my car to the oceanside shop. First, the actual cost was nearly double the estimate that I was given.
Second, the work that was done was done very poorly and did not appear to be done by a professional.
Third, when we took the car home from the shop, there were parts hanging under the car and dragging on the road, because these jokers did not fasten the parts to the car properly when they 'finished' the job.
I was not happy with the quality of work and I asked the general manager to inspect the work and let me know if he would be proud of the job that was done. He told me he was and that he had no problem with me telling everyone that Carcoa did the work on my car. So, I have been showing it to people and asking their opinion and they all agree the work is inferior and that they would not want to take their car to a Carcoa shop.
I will never take another car to this shop and I would never recommend them to anyone.
