On 5/15 I replaced an AC Delco battery prematurely in a 1999 Nissan Altima with a 24R-5yr AC Delco.
Then on July 13 that battery went dead. I only got a prorate on a new battery. This time it was a 24R-7yr. I ended paying over $80 for the new battery.
On 5/10 I replaced the original Nissan battery in my 2001 Frontier pick-up truck with an AC Delco 25-6yr battery. One week to the day, July 27, from replacing the battery in the Altima, the battery in my Frontier went dead.
That's two different vehicles and two different batteries originally purchased one week apart, failed one week apart.
I called AC Delco and was told there was nothing they could do about it other than pro-rate towards a new battery. After giving them the serial number, I was told it was made in Sept.
This time no more AC Delco batteries for me!!!
