I bought a 2002 Dodge Ram from K&R Auto and i asked the dealer if this truck has ever been in a car accident. He assured me that ithe truck has never been in a car accident.
I finaced the truck for 15,000.00.5 months later i find out the truck has been in 4 accidents in the past 4 years. One of the accidents totaled 13,000.00 in bodily damage and damage to the truck. The other 3 has a total between 3000.00 to 4000.00 dallors in damage to the truck.
The dealer did give me a carfax report that was pulled 6 months before i bought the truck. One thing about carfax is that they don't get their reports from insurance companys. They don't guarantee that the truck was never in a accident, they just guarantee it has never been reported to them, so the buyback policy does not apply to this sitution.
I have a pretty good idea this deal was aware that the truck had been damaged. This truck was used as a rental and was bought out of state. I have ran into 3 other people that claim this company has done the same thing to them. But did not have the information to prove it. I am determined to get something out of this company. This is wrong. Now it's more of the principle of the matter to me.
