I brought my Pontiac Grand Prix (company car) to this location on Thursday, May 24 at around 11:30am. My Wheels, Inc. Agreement is with national providers such as Aamco, and this one was about 8 miles from my home. Hindsight is 20/20 but I should have taken it to any one of the half dozen or so shops along Miramar Road on my way to this black hole.
I have to say, the d-bag at the counter had me fooled initially. Her name is Nicole Morales, and she was the one that took my information and promised to get my car back to me "in a little while". I mean, granted I needed a tire change, and oil change, and a tune up, but I thought I might STILL get my car back by the next day. She told me that she was going to have the "technicians" put the car up on the lift, take a look at it, and get back to me with resolution, and timeframe.
Well, that never happened. I didn't hear from Nicole that day. So, I called first thing on Friday morning, and was told, "oh, I just yelled at them to put the car on the lift. They are looking at it right now. I will call you back in a little bit." Getting a little worried now. So I call back 2.5 hours later (plenty of time, right?), and she says "they are working on the car now." I said, "ok, well, I really need my car this weekend Nicole. When do you think it will be ready?" She says "2pm, no later than 3." I was playing golf that afternoon, and didnt hear from her at all. So I call her back at 4:30pm. She says, "I'm not sure what's going on with it, let me check and call you right back."
At this point, we all know I am not getting a call back. At this point, it turns into me getting my car back regardless of whether it has been fixed or not. So, I call back at 5:05pm, and some guy answers. I ask for Nicole, and she gets on the phone. She says "Your car will be ready by 11am tomorrow (Saturday). You can pick it up then." I said, "Really? You guys are working tomorrow?" She said, "The technicians aren't but you can pick up the car." I said, "So, if I come by there at 11am, I am DEFINITELY going to pick up my car, right? Because I really, really need it." She said, "Yes." So I said, "Great, see you tomorrow."
Well, I drove all the way over there, got there right at 11am, and the ENTIRE PLACE was locked. No one there, not a soul. This f—king b-tch completely lied to me. So I am steaming in the parking lot for about 5 minutes, left her a scathing v/m, and all of a sudden, I see someone moving around in the office inside. I go up to the door, and knock. It is the owner of this Aamco, David Borgeman.
I immediately describe to him the scenario, he apologizes for his incompetent retard counter girl, and I demand my car back. So he says, "Ah, this is kind of embarassing, but... Nothing has been done to your car. Mike, they haven't even gotten the tires in yet, they haven't done anything. I don't know what to say. I'm really sorry." So, I said, "Give me my car back, this is absurd. I don't trust you people, and I am washing my hands." He offered to give me a free rental, but I declined. So he gave me my car back.
I immediately took it to the Lee Rollins Firestone right down the street, and they had everything done in less than 2 hours.
This Aamco is a joke. This girl Nicole Morales doesn't belong in the business world. She lied, she disrespected me, and even though her owner promised me that I would get an apology by either her or him, it is now Thursday of the next week and I have not heard from either of them.
Just not stand-up people. Do not waste your time here. Lee Rollins down the street is SOOO much better.
