I bought a set of wheels from stockton wheel. When I received them, the paint was sprayed on very thin, so thin that they needed repainting. The bigger problem was the wheels would not even fit on the vehicle I ordered them for. The vehicle was clearly identified and confirmed; that wasn't the problem.
They simply sent me wheels that would not fit. I spoke with the owner, frnak, who was rude, argumentative, interrupted and honestly made me wonder how on earth this guy can stay in business. He said to send the wheels back, which I did. I did not get a refund though, and I had to pursue a refund through the credit card company.
Partially due to glitches with the cardit card company (Citibank) I only received a partial refund, and on top of that, stockton wheel charged me a restocking fee, even though they sent me the wrong wheels. So I ended up paying shipping, restocking fee, and more than half my original payment for a total of $342. Essentially stockton wheel stole money from me.
The principles of this business lack ethics, honesty and even manners. The owner is cunning, ruthless, he knows how to work the credit system very well, has a nasty temper and will fiendishly rip you off and resent you at the same time.
