Dishonest Hostile and Rude to its customer when the customer has problems with their vehicle ripoff

Warning: do not purchase a car with capital honda 745 w. Capital expressway, san jose, ca.

On 11/28/06, I hade made the biggest mistake of my life. I had decided to trade in my PERFECT running Chevy Z-71 4X4, to purchase a "family vehicle, so me and my husband decided to trade our truck in for a Landrover Discovery at Capital Honda. Now 5 months later and a mere 6,000 miles later I am faced with a nightmare.

I went to have the 60,000 mile service tune-up on my vehicle with Landrover and now Landrover has told me that they have bad news. My Landrover has coolant and oil leakage and the Head Engine Block needs replacing. After finding this out my husband and I went over to talk to Capital Honda's service manager Ed Warren, we got nowhere with him.

He was automatically very hostile, defensive and rude to me and my husband. Ed Warren was so hostile with me and he stick his fingers in my face four times shouting that he would not do anything for us because we did not purchase an extended warranty, and that this was not his problem.

My question/comment to MR. ED is this; you're saying we should have purchased the extended warranty? Well if you believed in the vehicles you were selling in the first place, that are supposedly checked with your 100 point check inspection, why should I have purchased the extended warranty. Is it because customers should not trust your salesmen or is it that your repair department is also lousy and dishonest and ignored the leakage in the first place, and didn't care if it became someone else's problem?

My husband was also told that oil seepage is normal and that Honda does not need to disclose this to its customer. It's not like we pull these cars in and put them on a block and inspect them quoted from the director of used car sales. Mr. Ed Warren never offered us a solution he just walked away angrily from us. Is this how Honda takes care of its cutomers. There slogan "We make it easy" Easy to do what, easy to lie and mislead their customers.

I guess I was naive for believing in a bunch of lying, dishonest people. I was lead to believe that this car was in terrific condition, I had nothing to worry about and that it had passed Honda's 100 point check list, and that I was making a wise choice in purchasing this vehicle.

Funny how my vehicle I traded in sold overnight to one of your salesmen. Lucky guy he got a terrific vehicle, and I ended up with garbage.
