My son rented a "wreck" for $129.45 for the stipulated time of 2-2/27/07. He debited this charge. On 2/26/07 the car was removed from my home, unbeknownst to us. He had personal possesions in this car, and we ended up "having" to pay a lot of money to Mr. Saban in order to get his things returned. Saban screamed and yelled, and taunted us to call the police. When my mother told him he was not being respectful to me, as I am leaving for Iraq in March, he yelled, "That's your job... You're only doing this because you can't get a REAL job". My mother was livid, but we left because he was so out of control. We were told that $250 was debited from my account, NOT the $129 that we were quoted. There was a total of $376.58 padded onto my bill.
The remaining three days of my stay here was spent very ill, in bed, no phone calls. They had left a voice message on 2/26/07 that this vehicle was taken, reported "stolen", and this message was retrieved the morning we were going to return the vehicle. They somehow got into a gated community prior to the stipulated return date, and hauled the car away.
Mr. Saban is ruthless, arrogant, verbally abusive, and a flaming thief. Although it will be fruitless, I have filed a claim with the BBB as well.
