Compass Relocation (Compass Moving and Storage)
Worst movers on the planet

We employed Unity Shifting and Storage of Houston (also called UMC Shifting, Compass Move, Compass Shifting and Storage, and College Shifting, TxDOT 006025367C, with places in Stafford, Bryan, and elsewhere through Texas, continuously changing title and telephone #) to maneuver our possessions out-of our home in Sugar Area, Texas, on Jan 28, and into our new home in Sienna Plantation on February 3. Throughout the transfer-out, the movers place many dents within the surfaces of our home and declined to create them along. The top mover insisted that it had been only color which we could not declare that as harm. The gouges were a lot more than simply color. On Feb 3, the planned evening of our transfer-into the new home, we waited at our new house all day long for that movers to reach - they never arrived or worried to contact us. We tried calling them 10 occasions that evening on Matt's (the dog owneris) mobile phone, but he did not get or return our communications. Onetime, we named him on the cell # he did not identify and he acquired. After some stuttering, he stated he'd attempt to get us our possessions on Sunlight, Feb 4. On Sun, Feb 4, we waited all day long for that movers and got no telephone calls. We tried calling Matt 20 occasions, and he did not return our communications. We went towards the tackle on the bill and unearthed that it's a postoffice package. We completed a study using the Fort Bend County Sherriff, who named Matt and did not get a solution. Around 8 pm during the night, Matt named and stated he'd been outoftown. He didn't apologize and was really rude about the telephone. We stated we were likely to have another moving business arrived at his self storage units and obtain our possessions. Matt billed us $2500 to allow the additional moving business get our possessions. Your unique estimate was $656 for the whole move, and Matt billed us $2500 for half of a move. We subsequently discovered $4710 in problems to the possessions, including many items broken beyond fix (completed purposely?). The 2nd moving business we employed to accomplish the move billed $965 for that second-half of the move, when compared with Matt’s costs of $2500 for that first-half of the move. Additional problems we've with Matt and Unity Shifting and Storage contain: 1. Matt told us we’d get environment controlled storage – our device wasn't climate-controlled. 2. Matt told people his workers were full time and uniformed – among the movers (Troy) held referring to his additional work within the oilfields and just how he does the shifting for supplemental income, and also the movers were dressed up in dirty trousers and undershirts.

Matt refused our harm state towards the furniture (view e-mail copies under):

Re: extra injury claims

Mr. Flosser, I'll undoubtedly revue your state in its whole, but I actually do have to allow you to informed that theoretically our responsibility for harm to your furniture finished whenever you shifted it out-of our storage. There have been small scores to 2 end platforms plus some paint scratches which were obvious on the bright end-table that Thuy delivered to my interest as the products were still at our storage. Theoretically, apart from that, the 2nd moving business accounts for your furniture and I'd counsel you to additionally document a following state together. Matt
