To Whom This May Concern:
Been dealing with this problem for several years now with no luck and figured would try u people... I have owned this Dodge Caravan for the last 6 years.
Its a 92 six cylinder. It has 150K Mileage and its ten years old..
I noticed approx 3 years ago the paint blistered on the hood of the car. Since then the entire front hood has been getting worse.
To the point where now the entire front hood is blistering and pealing down to bare metal it seems...
Tried going to Dodge dealers two times with no resolution. They claim that because the car is 9 years old Dodge will not address the problem.
What recourse is there for me. I would like to sell the car but will have to paint it to do so. This will cost around $600.00. Hardly, evan the sales price of the vehicle.
Additionally, I have seen and talked to many other people who have Caravans like me. They are having the same problems with the paint. I have seen many other Caravans of the same years as mine is with the paint completly off their cars, so I know it's not just my vehicle with this problem..
I know for sure that it's a manufacturing defect and have beeen told that by two professionals in the auto body industry. Dodge will not address my problem...
Is there something else that can be done? Point me to someone o who could lead me in a direction to resolve this?
Very, very Frustated!!!
Why can't we manufacture things that will last and are of
good quality?
Mind u I don't expect that this vehicle should last forever but to have a defect as blatant as this does not say much for the manufacuring quality which this country has stooped to, in order to sell products and to turn a profit.
This is not only true for me in this particular instance but for everyone in many other instances.
As a concerned citizen of these United States I for one am starting and have been feed up with practices such as these for the longest time...
But as many or the majority of Americans (with little or no time to evan sit down with our family)
I feel that it is really a travesty that we Americans have no rights as far as this and many other things go... And if this is how we are going ahead into this new century then u can leave me behind.
If this is how we are teaching our children to be as well thats evan a bigger travesty... They are learning how to do the same things...
I see my two sons as heading in the same direction with regards to how they behave and how they view their future.
Just seems that we are heading in the wrong direction from where we were evan just 20 years ago.
I could say much more here but I believe the message is clear...
Please do comment if u feel the same way...
Pass this message along to others especially to those u love and maybe we could start something hear and make some changes, for maybe not our future but for the next generations future as well as our World's future.
PS There are many things which are addressed here and I hope it's only the begining...
PSS This also arrose from an E-Mail my sister sent me about the elimination of any reference to GOD in our Pledge Of Allegiance...
Wrong road to be going down, because God and our belief in that is what has brought this country to where it is today...
Maybe, we should bring God back as our unifying force for the future... AL P
