I bought a 2001 Accord from Haim's Motors on September 23 and they promised me a 3rd brake light for a spoiler. They made a contract and signed it. I called twice a week which gradually grew into four times a week over the period of a month and 1/2 wondering where my brake light was. They kept informing me they were going to buy it and that they were ordering it as soon as I got off the phone. After no response, I went there. After some argument for them to order the part and them swearing that they did so much for my car already (I took it back for them to look at the brakes which Im not even sure if they fixed) they finally confirmed that they had ordered the breake light. After a week later, I went back to pick up my part on November the 23rd. I took it home, looked at it, and realized the light was too short for my spoiler. I went back Monday November 27 to inform them that it was the wrong part. I asked if the guy that handled my financing and my situation was there and the owner told me he wasn't. I then asked for a piece of paper so that i could leave a note that I recieved the wrong piece. The owner angrily reponsded by saying " You know what? This is turning into a problem, you need to go to Honda and tell them and we'll pay for it. I've seen you here so many times!" In defense I yelled " It's not my part that you guys prdered the wrong part. The contract said you were going to get me the part so I expect that out of you. I'm a good customer to you guys! Are you catching an attitude with me?" At this point the man said to me "I'm getting sick of this so yea I am getting an attitude with you! This is the 3rd or 4th time you've been in here! My mechanic did everything for you by fixing your brakes and now your complaining about this light?" I said back to him " Yea I am getting mad beacuse you guys told me that if a minor thing is wrong with the car you'll take care of it so dont get mad or get an attitude with me. I expect you to get me the correct part. Don't get mad at me that Honda gave you the worng part. This part is for older models!" He finally backed off after a few more minutes of arguing and said that he'll have it taken care of by one of his girls (secretaries). I got nothing but attitude from the OWNER of the business admitting that he did get an attitude at me because Honda sent the wrong part.
