It took them 5 times and countless hours with 4 differnt techs to determine what was wrong. They prevented me from working. I actually lost business due ti this matter

I took my car to be serviced by VALUE BRAKES approx. 3 weeks ago. The diagnosis was that I needed new brakes and my roters to be turned. I then waited for me car for this work to be done for 5 1/2 hours. Then having to fight with the Manager about only wanting the $79.99 brake job and not the $239.00 brake job he was trying to sell me.

I then left the establishment thinking everything was fine, but it was not the front brakes were shaking and grabbing. I then returned the next day to have it re-serviced for them to tell me the roters were cut uneven, so I then waited 3 hours for this to be resolved.

I get my car back and drive it for 2 days when I noticed an severe shake in the front to the tune of blowing a fog lamp that I had replaced just 2 months prior! I then returned the car for them to tell me that the front roters were mis-cut again and that the "Master Tech" would specifically care for my vehicle.

I get my car back yet again and the next day the rear brake locks up and will not give so I drove it back to the place after hours to find the roter is now glowing in the dark a bright red/orange color and is screaming hot! I called them the next morning to tell them what had happened they told me that the roters needed to be replaced, I bet so after cutting on them what is now 4 times.

I then insisted that a higher decision be involved and spoke with Brooks Hough which the area manager in which told me that he would refund me the $79.99 and put rear roters on the car. Keep in mind that I am a commissioned insurance salesman and work out of my vehicle to provide for my family. So I then demand that some sort of compensation be given to me for all of the money they have cost me in the return visits and lost commissions.

He then stated that he did not think that was fair and company policy was to reimburse the money and for them to "Wash thier hands of me" I have contacted the customer service hotline and have got 1 response in going on 3 weeks. It gets better so I allow them to replace the rear roters because I need my vehicle for sales and get it back last night and began my day as I normally would travelling to Greenville S.C. Which is a good 2 hours away, mid-way through my trip the shaking I originally told you about was back so I proceeded to turn around and head back to West Columbia.

The manager now tells me the front roters need to be replaced and that they would replace them. I also had to call my client and tell them yet again for the secong time that I could not make it and they cancelled the sale and are choosing not to do business with me! Now how is that not effecting my income and how could they say that it is unfair to be compensated for this time that was missed and my productivity was hindered! Not to mention all the other people I had to turn down for interviews/sales.

I know someone will read this and want to respond like I have read so many times but if you haven't been in my shoes you need to can your opinions and follow it up with facts such as I have done! Beware the king of sorry servcie has risen!!!
