I thought I was almost finished paying off my car. Until I looked at my online statement and my statement that was in the mail and notice a huge difference in what I had owed. I am guility of making late payments but I do pay all late fees. I notice when viewing my account, my late fees were not being calculate correctly and it showed that I was paying less than requested which is not true. I always paid more but the access money was not being credited to my account at all. I question the company about that and was told that interest rate was applied to my late fees and to review my contract. After reviewing my contract it stated that 5% will be applied to part of the late payment that is late. It did not state anything about interest rate. I spoke to a rep and requested a copy of my contract and all payments. I recieved my contract but not the payment history. I went on line to see my payment history, the menu was change and it did not give me that information which used to be there. They are charging me interest on late payments which was not in my contract. After speaking to them I was threaten that my car will be repossessed if I did not pay the late payment fees.
