I purchased a vehicle on 4/25/06 from Kent Dobbs Hyundai in Springdale, AR. When I purchased it, the engine light was on. The service tech said that it was "just water from washing the car." Not even 9 days later, the engine had to be replaced. I called Kent Dobbs to tell them what had happened and to have their service tech call me. The customer service rep. Basically said it was my fault for not buying a new car. I still have not heard back from them. Now, my starter just went out. I have replaced the engine, fixed the light, and now I am having to replace the starter. I have spent more repairing this car than I spent on the purchase. I realize there is not any legal action I can take, but I feel like consumers should be aware that Kent Dobbs Hyundai "riggs" vehicles for quick sale, and when they fall apart, they have nothing to say, other than it is my fault because I could not afford a brand new car.
