I've been a loyal Les Schwab customer for 25 years.
The date 8-28-06 $1,326.00 worth of brake & shock work. Was patient all day not a problem. After all it's my Classic 66 Galaxie which I'm restoring. The next day I had to go back for air in my air schocks even took the boy's some smoked salmon that I smoked the day before.
All was well till Sunday when my wife and I took a cruise down HWY 2 near Index Wa. At 1 point we were doing 65 miles an hour. All was well for another 2 miles all of a sudden noise, right front tire, all of a sudden right front tire fall OFF... We almost crash into a tractor trailor flying at Mach 1. Able to get close to the side of the road and were safe. We call 911 all is well even though The Galaxie is sticking out in the middle of the HWY.
Called Les Schwab and they said charge all towing to them and tow it to their location in Monroe. Great we're glad no one got hurt 2 hours later flagging people going Mach 1 also to slow down can't put road flares out burning ban in effect. Yada yada yada from Les Schwab, they are unable to relace my Mag wheel big deal that fell off. So they say to come in and select some new rims, OK. I drive from work to Les Schwab the gentleman that I was to ask for made me feel like it was my fault and only offered me only a seliction of 2 rims and not the least bit concered of our safty or the safe driving of the car. No customer satification what so ever.
I'm sending my wife in to pick up the car because they made me feel guilt that it happend. I wish we would have crashed so they can really understand that something like that is their worst nightmare and they don't care anymore. Not like they did in the years past. Thank you...
