WORST Auto Mover EVER! Ripoff

Unfortunately, my car move was the WORST I've ever had. Tony's Transport had HORRIBLE customer service and held my car out for about a week longer than expected. I had Tony's pick up my car on June 28th— about a week before I was scheduled to leave Oregon. When I spoke to the dispatcher at Angel's she told me that by having my car leave on the 28th there would be a better chance of me having my car closer to the time when I arrived in Georgia (around the 7th of July).

They originally told me that my car would probably arrive on the 8th or 9th of July. On July 8th my car had not arrived yet. I called Tony's to see when my car would arrive and they told me that it was running late due to the 4th of July holiday and should arrive on the 10th. Meanwhile, I still had my rental car and extended the rental for a couple more days.

On the 10th, my car still did not arrive. I called Angel's first this time. The dispatcher at Angel's told me that Tony's had already reported that the car had been dropped off already. I told her it had not and she called Tony's to see what was going on but couldn't get in touch with them. I called Tony's back about an hour later and the dispatcher there told me that my car did not LEAVE Oregon until the 5th of July.

If I had known that my car was not going to leave Oregon until the 5th, I would not have given them my car a week early and would have saved myself the $300 in rental car fees. They told me that my car would now arrive on Friday, July 14th. On the 14th I had not received a phone call from Tony's, so I called Angel's again. The dispatcher called Tony's and said that they were about 5 hours away (this was at 2 pm EST).

I expressed my dissatisfaction with the dispatcher at Angel's about the service and she told me that she agreed that I should get some type of discount for the bad service and said that she would talk to Tony's about giving me a discount.

Around 8 pm EST I still had not heard from Tony's. I called Tony's again and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was VERY rude and acted as if it was ok that my car had not arrived yet. He told me that he did not feel like I should recieve a discounted price and if Angel's wanted me to have a discount then Angel's should use their part of the money to give a discount. He told me that the driver was (STILL) 5 hours away and that he could come drop my car off that night if I wanted him to. I told him to bring my car that night. The driver never showed up.

My car FINALLY arrive on Saturday afternoon around 5 pm. When the driver showed up a small boy (around 12-13 yrs old) DROVE my car off of the truck. The driver smelled like beer and claimed he couldn't speak English. I was absolutely pissed.

I am now filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well as every major movingscam website I can find. No one should ever have to go through a move this stressful. A friend of mine referred me to Angel's and I expected Angel's to find me a reputable moving company. Although the dispatchers at Angel's were nice, I would never use Angel's again and would never refer them (or Tony's) to any of my friends. The worst thing is that I had to pay full price and nothing was ever done to try to make up for the bad customer service I received.
