A week I purchased a 2003 Ford Explorer from Springfield Ford. The car has been back to them twice already for the air conditioner not working, and as of today, its still does not work. They have ordered parts both times, swearing it was fixed, but it is not.
On the day we purchased the vehicle, the salesman also promised that he would put new tires on the truck since I had decided not to purchase the vehicle with the tires on it. He said, "I wont let that stop the deal, I will have the tires replaced."
Since the tires needed to be ordered, and it was 930 at night, I purchased the vehicle.
After the ac was supposingly fixed the second time, we called our salesman about the tires, only for him to say. First he don't recall stating that, then to say, "Since we brought the vehicle down in price, we cant replace the tires."
The best line was: "We lost money on this sale!"
As of today, Ive made several complaints to the FTC, BBB, Several news stations, and many other Internet forums.
Ford is refusing to do anything about it.
Why would anyone trust the FORD name again? They lie and sell cars that wouldnt even pass inspection.
