I purchased a Mitsubishi Montero Jeep in at least i thought i did. I was put on a ballon payment program. I was told it was only to lower my monthly payments. It was nevered explained to me that i would have to pay the ballon payment off. Only that if i was planning on keeping the car i could get it refinanced. Or turn it back in for another car. The total payment was concealed when i was signing the contract. I made a total payment of $25,000 to Mitsubishi the ballon payment is $15,000 even when my contract expired. I was not notified that my contract was over. I was still making payments to Center One who bought my contract after i paid $25,000 to Mitisbushi. So i was basically making payments on a contract that had expired. Center one at the time did not tellme my contract was over. When i contacted Center One to see if i could refinance the jeep, they basically told me no. So i had to turn the jeep in the last week of November. So basically i was with out a car and had to get back and fourth to work. The jeep was sold at a auction. So im out of $25,000 and a jeep. I want this information to get out to consumers, so this wont happen to any one else. It heart breacking to work every day, trying to make a living and all your heart earned money goes the the drain.
