Ripoff 1st level Salesperson misrepresents the products available and sells what the consumer wants to buy not an actual product

I spoke with a 1st level Salesperson to purchase an extended warranty for my convertible mercedes. I was specifically told by the salesperson that the convertible top motor would be covered by the expressed warranty. When I was forwarded to the Verification stage, I reiterated the question of my top motor, I was told that the item "wasn't specifically" listed but I was purchasing a warranty the was "a step above bumper to bumper". 2 months later I file my first claim and my warranty is a B-S component specific warranty that covers certain parts of certain systems. When I spoke to cancellation to cancel the warranty, I had my verification tape retreived to prove that I had been misled about the details of my warranty. The Manager, Jay Katzoff, made it a point to highlight that the Verification person said the questioned component wasn't specifically listed but he failed to mention that this same person told me I was purchasing a warranty that was better than bumper to bumper. When I mentioned the fact that I had a warranty that was supposed to be better than bumper to bumper Jay proceeded to tell me that "bumper to bumper" was a falsehood, just "an industry buzzword" which really described an "exclusionary" warranty. Now, I'm not saying I know everything but "bumper to bumper" seems to be the ANTONYM to "exclusionary". Exclude DOES mean "leave something (s) out doesn't it. When I made this statement, Jay had the audacity to say "yes, but with a bumper to bumper, if your bumper falls off, will your warranty provider replace it?" I told him that depended on the circumstances that caused it to fall off. Needless to say, our conversation didn't go much further because I was insulted at the fact that he thought was attempting to play with words. I was finally able to successfuly cancel my contract, of course they wanted to hold some of my money and attempted everything possible even trying to bypass the fact that I had purchased the additional cost, "but Highly recommended" refund guarantee, but they failed. I am now playing the "4-6 week" waiting game. I'll continue to update.
