Dishonest, Ripoff, Never Covered Properly

On Sept 9th I bought Auto Insurance through GEICO on the Internet. I also spoke with a salesperson on the phone to make sure I was properly covered.
A month later Oct 10th I recieved a email stating my insurance was to be cancelled due to not having my vehicle inspected at a specialized GEICO center. I was never told that I had to complete this. I immediatly called GEICO and found the closest center to have it completed.

At the specialized center they inspected both my cars and filled out their paperwork and gave me a copy (thankfully). They assured me that they would have it faxed in. I then called the representative and told him the inspection was complete on both vehicles.
Three months later i recieved a notice from my lien holder (GMAC) that I was not properly covered. I again called GEICO to inquire why I was not covered properly. They stated I never completed a Vehicle Inspection at a specialized GEICO center. I assured them that I had completed the necessary paperwork and had proof. I then faxed the two vehicle inspection sheets to the specified GEICO office.

Again they apologized for the inconvience and thanked me for insuring with GEICO. Jan 24th I recieved another letter from my lein holder (GMAC) stating why I have not had proper insurance coverage on my vehicle.
I immediatly went online to check my policy coverage on the GEICO site. Everything was displayed correctly except the account balance. I now owed $852 and change. This could not be correct due to the fact I already placed a 25% down payment to bind the insurance and was placed on their payment plan.

Again another call to a GEICO customer service agent to figure out why I was being charged for the amount of $852 and why I'm still not covered properly. According to the agent I am being charged for what the diffrence of proper coverage since Oct 10th. Due to the fact they never recieved the vehicle inspection forms from a speciliazed GEICO inspection station.in order to be properly covered from Oct 10th to current date I must pay this amount over and above what they quoted and charged me.

GEICO will not spread out the amount in the payment plan due to it being at the end of the 6 month policy period. They will not admit that they are in the wrong and have not covered my vehicle properly.
I am on a strick budget and cannot afford a lump sum of $850 plus the amount to renew the 6 month policy on our vehicles.

I urge anyone looking at GEICO insurnace company to stay far away from their friendly, but dishonest customer service. I am repulsed at the fact that I did everything to honor the contract and GEICO did not. When did buisness gain the right to charge customers for their wrong doing and breech of contract? Obviously GEICO has gained that right.
