My 1990 Honda Accord stalled and wouldn't restart. Had car towed to this local garage to be diagnosed. Garage diagnosed the problem as a bad distributor and indicated parts and labor would be over $500. I felt they were charging way too much so I refused to have the work done. They still charged $35 for diagnosis, which I accepted and paid for.
A family friend agreed to look at the car and suggested we buy a distributor coil ($60) at a local parts store after he determined everything else looked good (plugs, wires and distributor itself).
He tried several things, but the car still wouldn't turn over and the engine kept flooding. He looked at a similar Honda and realized that the garage randomly changed the order of the spark plug wires. When he set them the correct way, the car started and has been running great for 3 months!
If you live in the area, AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS. Don't even buy gas from them.
