Dear Ripoff staff,
1st i should have known this co was going to be hard to deal with, when i purchased the van i put $6000.00 down they said i could refinace after 1 year of good standing and i did just that, but they had forgotten to tell me roma wouldn't do it... My interest rate is 21.99% and i have already paid $21,000.00 and have $10,000.00 to go.
My van was repossed 8 days ago for being behind 2 months (i was going to pay it before the 3 months) the guys that picked it up said to call foothill of nissan / roma acceptance the next day because the van would be there and i would have to bring in $l, 150.00.
I called the next day and talked to omar - roma he said the van was not there, and to wait for a cert letter, it's been 9 days and 3 calls later i was told to go to the post office. Thats when i became suspicious and decided to look up roma in the internet.
I felt omar was trying to waste time so i wouldn't be able to pick it up. To my surprise i found consumer complaints had customers that had dealings with roma acceptance and foothill of nissan. I also could not find a location or listing for roma acceptance..
I am really upset and scared and really need someone to intercept on my behalf and let me know what my rights are. Omar now has become rude, unprofessional (telling me to go to the post office) i called him back and told him to resend my cert letter. He has also become somewhat unreliable.
