Our company was contracted to move vehicles for this company on
02-25-04. Vehicle was to be ready for pickup on 04-14-04. Our truck went to pick up the vehicle and it was not there. We charge a $200.00 "dry run" fee. We have yet to see payment.
On 08-24-04 our company was contracted to move another vehicle for a rate of $675.00/$650.00 cod. We billed them them remaing $25.00 on 09-08-04. We have received not payment.
We have faxed our invoices several times, called their office to find out when they were going to pay us.
"Kevin" who also sounds like "Tom" & "Nick" told 5 different dates that our check had been mailed. After we had not received payment by 11-30-04, a collection letter was sent to them. "Nick" called our office 12-01-04 and told me that he was sorry for the delay, but that their "book keeper" had been stealing money from their company and they were trying to figure out which invoices had/had not been paid.
By 01-11-05 our company reported Town & Country to Central Dispatch, which is an internet company that allows Brokers to post their available loads. Vinne at Central Dispatch contacted T&C and they assured her they would send us our money.
As of 07-14-05 we still have yet to receive payment.
Town & Country has had several mailing address and phone numbers during this time.
