Andy Mohr Pontiac
2003 Aztec, not under warranty hub bearings, transmission, brakes, misc. Repairs Ripoff

I purchased a 2003 Pontiac Aztec from Andy Mohr in Fishers, IN and have had nothing but trouble. All Aztecs have only a 36,000 mile warranty due to the problems that have been noted on the & 2005 Aztecs.

Besides the small problems like the locks being worked on 3 times, the gear shift buckling and blowing apart while sitting in my garage, my hub bearings went out, my front and rear brakes had to be replaced; and now after spending money to have the parts replaced in my transmission because it would not move - Andy Mohr is quoting me $1600.00 to recalibrate and replace more parts. If you check the back lot at Andy Mohr, you will find it filled with used Aztecs. The cost of a new Aztec was at $25,000, now the value is $9,700 (2 years later). I still have a balance of $16,000.00. I am a vietnam widowed grandmother raising 4 granchildre (3 of which are disabled) and have no transporation to and from work or to their doctor appointments. I have spent $368.00 in May on a rental and now I am returning a rental on Tuesday with a bill of close to $400.00. The only response that I can get from Andy Mohr and GM Corporation is that I need a receipt for the work I had done previously on my transmission. I do not see what difference it makes on what other work was done on my vehicle. I believe that once a corporation knows that they have a defective automobile, they should do a recall on the transmission (which is stated in the report) that only the dealerships can obtain. My son-in-law works for Saturn and pulled the report off of the inter-net for me. I would like for Andy Mohr to buy my car back, so that I can purchase a vehicle that will allow myself with my 4 grandchildren to be able to get to the store, the doctor and any place that a 2003 vehicle should do. I have had several automobiles in my 53 years and have never had one that has had the problems that the Aztec does. Please help me any way you can, or give me some leads on who might be able to help me.
