This company sold me a wrecked BMW Z3 in 2001 for full market value. This car was wrecked in New York, required extensive repaires, purchased at a BMW auction by the dealer, and marketed as a clean pre-owned vehicle in Pennsylvania.
A C.L.U.E. Report and a call to the original owner finally verified the accident history in 2004. $18,000. Paid out to repair the car along with $60,000. For bodily injury.
P&W BMW deny knowing that the car was wrecked. As BMW experts, this is unlikely.
I met with Mike Brown, Manager in Nov. 2004. He offered a non-profit deal. I compared P&W's deal to another local BMW dealer (A&L BMW of Monroeville) only to get a better offer from the other dealer. A&L also noticed immediately that the car had been wrecked.
The Attorney General is now working on this case.
