Superior Ford Mercury in Athens, TN recently sold me a Ford Explorer. The salesman Mitch Underwood told me that I would have a warranty to 60,000 miles. After about 2 months had went by I had a problem with my automatic window on the drivers side not going up.
So of course I needed it fixed and went to a close by Ford dealership. They told me that it would cost me $300.95 to have it fixed. I told them that I have a warranty, and they said that it was not showing up in the system. I told them to go ahead and fix it that I would call Superior and they would straightin this out.
The lady at Supereior told me NO I do not have a warranty and the salesman must have lied, and that they are not reliable for what the salesman says. She also told me that he was only there for a week. That he was part of a traveling sales group that where hired through another company.
She said that they cannot help me and they do not have the info. On where this guy came from. (Yhea Right) She said only the owner would have that, but he was on vacation. I think they should pay at least for my window and let the company that hired this salesman know what he is doing. I also found out that I was not the only one that this salesman Mitch Underwood done this to other people. Be-Ware of traveling dealership salesman.
