Jim Hanley Firestone
Is a ripoff

I had a problem with my truck, so i took it to Jim Hanley Firestone. Mind you I had to take off work and rely on people to pick me up and give me rides to home/work. The idiots at the shop told me one thing was wrong, so I told them to fix it. Got my truck back - guess what. It didnt work. Took it back and demanded they put the old working part back on and refund my money. I left it there for them to put old part back on, when they called and said they REALLY knew what was wrong with it this time. So, needing my truck I said ok-fix it. Big mistake. On my way to work the very next day, it broke down.

Furious at this point I called and told them that they needed to come get my frickin' car and fix it. At this point I needed it to be towed from the side of the road and I figured I could get them to do it since they messed up. So they came and got my car, they didnt charged me for the tow, and said this time they had fixed what was REALLY wrong with it. Well needless to say, it broke down on the way home from the shop. I had my mom drive 2 hours to come pick me up. I went to the shop, told Mr. Jim Hanley himself (the same person I had been dealing with the entire time) that my truck was not fixed and had broke down on the way home. He said, well we cant help you.

I demanded my money back, he said no - we towed your car for free. I took it to another shop, who fixed it in 1/2 a day. That shop told me it was a simple part to fix and showed me how to fix it if it happened again. I took the broken part to Jim Hanley and told him I had got it fixed at another shop for $45 and I wanted my money back. He gave me the old parts back (in a bag), and said - Well, you can keep the new ones we put in - that should make us even. HELLO - there was never anything wrong with those parts to begin with. So $215 dollars down the drain at Jim Hanley Firestone to fix a $20 part.

Dont go there!
